Product copy is usually grunt work for a brand copywriter, but I’ve always liked it because it reminds me of why I got into writing (and especially why I got into writing about food) in the first place. There’s a certain pleasure in putting joyful, tactile experiences into words. That’s what I’m always looking for when talking about the things that fill our everyday.

Flavors by Bhumi Sweet Kumquats
Out of all the kumquat varieties out there, these are the sweetest you’ll find. You can pop these grape-sized citrus fruits directly into your mouth (the rind is edible) and enjoy their candy-like taste. They’re also great for slicing up to use in salads, sauces, or marinades and rubs for roast meats.
Flavors by Bhumi began with a quest to grow some of the most incredible citrus from around the world locally in New Jersey. Nowadays, this grower is known among chefs and food artisans for fresh and superior quality produce. They take their name from the Hindi word for “Mother Earth,” to whom they entrust the care of their fruit trees.

Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus trees are native to Australia, where their distinctive, citrusy aroma fills the air. We arrange these baby-blue branches into bunches, with their rounded leaves climbing up the stems in a gracefully dramatic pattern. They’re perfect for adding a verdant touch to your home and will freshen up the atmosphere.

FreshDirect Frozen Oven-Ready Vegan Croissants
You’d never even guess these are vegan with all their glorious, decadent richness. Our butter- and dairy-less croissants are tender, flaky, and so light they’ll melt in your mouth. The trick to their incredible texture is a coconut-milk-based butter alternative. Enjoy them fresh out of the oven for a bit of pure heaven, perhaps with a fruit spread or as part of a sandwich.

Hokkaido Dry Sea Scallops
Hokkaido scallops are a favorite of professional chefs because of their tenderness and uniform shape. These sustainably-sourced, wild-caught mollusks come to us from the ice-cold waters of northern and eastern Hokkaido, Japan. Shortly after capture, they are graded by hand and flash frozen, which ensures freshness as they make their way to you. Never treated, dry, and all-natural, they sear up beautifully and have a sweet, genuine flavor that shines on any plate.

Habanada Peppers
A habanero that you can snack on whole? It’s real: the habanada has all of the same floral, melon-like flavors but none of the scorching heat. The resulting pepper is aromatic, sweet, and mild enough to eat raw, and is delicious sliced, roasted, pickled, or puréed.

Pasture-Raised Heritage Classic Hot Dogs
Remember the way hot dogs used to be, snappy, plump, and too big for their bun? We partnered with Josef’s Artisanal Meats in upstate New York to recreate that classic frankfurter. Their years of experience crafting sausages by hand helped us turn our local pasture-raised pork and beef into mild-flavored and traditionally-seasoned smoked franks that will bring back those first-hot-dog-of-summer memories. Mustard not included.
